Multiple systems are addressed during treatment. The skill of the therapist is to identify those areas for treatment that are essential for your recovery. Often multiple systems are involved with your pain or distress. For instance, the lymphatic system is as important as the nervous system or the soft tissue system when it comes to pain or anxiety. Fluid flow is critical for your healing and well being.
Here are some of the ways I can help you:
- Asessment and treatment is hands-on to find decreased temperature changes in the body which are indicative of restricted energy or fluid flow.
- Hands-on assessment and treatment of adhered fascia and muscles, joint and spine alignment problems.
- A visual inspection is performed of the skin, hands, and tongue looking for nutritional deficiencies. An example of a nutritional deficency would be multiple white spots on the fingernails or liver spots on the skin.
- Pain assessment and history is taken.
- Medical and emotional history is taken either verbally or in paper form.
- Questionnaires are given if necessary to further determine steps necessary for healing.
- You will receive information on my findings and what you can do to heal.
